I want the British adult cover! It's so pretty!

Ours is really nice too, though. I can't wait for it to come out, and I'm glad I know what it looks like. Thanks for sharing! :)

*gasp* you POSTED!

*gasp* Does this mean the book is going to be Dumbledore-centric somehow??

*gasp* Oh no! I'm pretty sure they will only sell the British kids' version over here, at least that's what they did last time, and that's the only cover I don't like.

Okay, no more gasping. I have a sore throat. :(

YAY *dances around in a circle*
Wonder not only if Dumbledore is HBP, but also if Harry made an O in the potions of his O.W.L.'s. *looks at adult cover*
Does that mean that there are 2 different versions of the story?

Cool thanks very much for that :) You have actually succeeded in rekindling my long-dead interest in Harry Potter.

I have to say that I prefer both the British illstrations to the American one. The kids' one suggests phoenix-ness and the adult one suggests Harry on his way to Auror-ness. Whoop!

And yes, I agree. Post more! :)

Sorry, am leaving this post in a completely random place, but figured that lj might be the most likely place to get a quick response in case the website had an older email. ;o)

So, [info]hermionemalfoy and I were (instead of studying for exams) complaining about the current lack of good WIPs and were reminiscing about the Old Days of HP Fandom (we both entered sometime in 1999). This les us to a nostalgic session of naming good WIPs that haven't been updated in years, among which we listed Spirit Room. With most of the WIPs, the authors disappeared from fandom before lj's caught on, abandoned their sites, and are now impossible to get ahold of. Sadly, we've given up all hope of finding out whether certain characters live, die, and/or snog. You, however, still seem to be interested in HP, so I have to ask (even though you've probably answered this a million times in the past): Do you intend to finish Spirit Room some day, or do we count it among the dead? Also, are there any bribes (baked goods, flattery, etc.) that might convince you to finish it?
